I hope if I am to ever to have my own house to have a bookcase complete with ladder like this.
I have already advised John of this plan. I’m lucky he is a reader. Even luckier that he can read, if be it only novels from the fantasy genre. I’d be luckier still if he were a reader that could build.
There is something to be said for a house full of books. It makes a house seem much more like a home.

Ooh I’ve always wanted a library with a sliding ladder. Would be even more fun if it were one that was rounded so you could go around corners. I’m not much of a reader but I’d imagine this would be great for any type of collection. Music, Movies, Books, Magazines, Photos an all encompassing library, home for not just books!
I think it would be tempting to climb on it and slide around. Well at least for me.
Perhaps a sliding compactus like that have in medical records departments hahahha. I have a lot of books in shelves all through my place and in random piles on any even surface but because it’s only a duplex it makes the place look like something from the show horders.
